we have found it to be even more so when raising these small camilids. Unlike their larger kin llamas, who can be used for backpacking trips, alpacas are kept for their valuable fiber. Caring for animals isn’t for everyone, but those who know, don’t need any more persuading. Alpacas are a real joy, our next adventure.

What is life if not an adventure

Milano:

Our two year old, mild mannered, show stopper. We really think he’s great, but don’t just take our word for it. Here is what three judges have said about him:

“… totally long staple, consistent and pounded out throughout that fleece; nice stamped out crimp style”

Wade Geese, Alpacapalooza 2011

. . . I wish I had twenty of him on my farm”

Sharon Loner, NW Alpaca Showcase 2011

“I really loved this guy and everything about him: He’s really top notch.”

Ken Hibbets, Alpaca Affaire Northwest 2011
